Mary Bradford was the Piano Instructor at St. Edward's University, for 30 years. She taught both group and advanced piano courses. She holds a B.M. in Music Education and an M.M. in Piano Pedagogy, both from The University of Texas at Austin, and completed many post-graduate hours. She continues to study with U.T. music professor David Renner.

Ms. Bradford is a National Certified Music Teacher; a member of the American College of Musicians, Texas Music Teachers Association, and Austin District Music Teachers Association; and is listed in Who's Who of American Women.

Her early musical training included lessons with Mary Hope Brennecke, a graduate of Baylor Music School and Eastman; and Professor Anna Jackson, a graduate of Julliard, U.T. piano professor, and now a MTNA Fellow. For her bachelor's degree, Mary studied with Professor Emmett Vokes, and for her master's, she studied with Professors Amanda Vick Lethco and David Renner.

Mary's broad teaching experience includes teaching private lessons to both music and non-music majors for the U.T. music department, serving as an elementary music teacher in the Austin and Houston Independent School Districts, serving as choral pianist and substitute choral director at Conroe High School, teaching piano for the Austin Community School, and teaching private piano lessons in her home-based studios in both Dallas and Austin.

Mary has been a Piano Guild Judge for cities all around Texas (Houston, Orange, San Antonio, Waco, Tyler, Temple, Belton, Brenham, Victoria).

Ms. Bradford lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband, Ralph Lee, and their beagle Maggie May.
